# Understanding the Subscription Recurring Order widget

Disabling Subscription Recurring Order using this guide will only hide the subscription widget and subscription option from your storefront. If you need to stop recurring billing you need to uninstall and delete the app from the Shopify admin.<br>

The subscription widget is used on your product page to make it easy for customers to sign-up for a subscription. Depending on your store settings, customers can select between "Subscribe & save" and "One-time purchase," or select their billing and shipping frequency. Here is what the subscription widget looks like in a Shopify store:
