# Does having schema guarantee a higher ranking on Google?

No. However, the chances of getting a good ranking in the SERPs are significantly higher if the schema is applied correctly with extra help from other SEO tools. The primary purpose of schema markup is to make search engines recognize your website as eligible to be listed on search result pages.
