Optimize Meta Tag & Description

Meta tags and descriptions are essential for SEO, they are just one aspect of optimizing your website.

To get started.

1. Log in to your Shopify admin Click on Apps and click on SEO Schema Breadcrumb.

2. On the left menu, you have meta tags as an option Click on it.

3. There you will see the intuitive dashboard that gives you a view where you can see your SEO score, total issues, and last modified date.

   
4. Click on the fix. And there you go, just fill in the required input values, like "focus keyword. The focus keyword helps search engines understand the main topic or theme of your content, which can contribute to higher rankings in relevant search results. For example - For a Product Apple iPhone 14 (128GB, Blue)A focus keyword can be - " Buy", or" iPhone 14 (128GB, Blue) Online". B. Meta Title - Here's an example of how the meta title has been written: Meta Title - Buy Apple iPhone 14 (128GB, Blue) Online - Croma Note: Make sure your meta title is to be written in between 50 to 60 characters. And your Meta title is to be combined with the Focus keyword. C. Meta Description - Provides a brief summary or description of the content of a webpage. Example - Buy Apple iPhone 14 (128GB, Blue) online at the best prices from Croma. Check product details, reviews & more. Shop now! Note: Make sure your meta description is to be written between 150 to 160 characters. And your Meta title is to be combined with the Focus keyword.

Click On Save.

1. Now next to edit your Image Alt text Click On the Image ALT Text tab. Put the test in the field below and save.
