How to set the specific date for the payment ?

You can set up your subscription rules to charge orders on a specific day. For example, you can charge your customers on the 10th of every month or weekly every Saturday. Customers will always be billed immediately at the time of checkout, but subsequent orders will charge on the day you have set. This guide provides an overview of the functionality and how to set specific charge days. First, create your subscription if not created yet. To create the subscription plans of your choice in your store, you can click on ‘Subscription ’ on the left side panel.

Upon successfully getting into 'Subscription ', you can click on ‘Manage Subscription ’.

You can then enter a suitable name for your subscription plan and click next.

Then you can click on Choose button to choose the product for which you want to create a subscription Model.

You can search your products if you have more number of products. Choose the one for which you want to create a subscription plan. Then click on Next.

Click on "Add Frequency" to add the frequencies to which frequently you want to create an order for your user.

Fill the below mention files :

  • Frequency Name - Here you can name the frequency created to identify how you have created it like - by weekly, Bi-monthly, quarterly, Yearly etc.

  • Order frequency: Number of orders that needed to be sent to the customer.

  • Order Frequency Type: Here you can select if the order needs to be sent monthly, weekly, day-wise, etc

  • Bill Every: Here you can put how you want your customer to be billed like for every 3 months, etc

  • Discount Type: Here you can choose the discount you want to offer to your customer like discount an amount or give a percentage-wise discount.

  • Discount Value: You can select the value of the discount offer.

To set the specific date for the payment mark the toggle on for " Want to set order date?" refer to the screenshot below: This will enable the option to choose the minimum and maximum billing cycle once the options are enabled choose the values from the drop-down.

Now from the drop-down option given below the toggle choose " On a specific day" and then select the Billing date as shown above. If the subscription plan is made weekly. hen in the filing option client needs to choose a day like - Monday. Click on the save button to save the frequency created and finally click on the contract.

To test you can simply click on the product name under the subscription plan created.
